Is Your Organization Facing A "Perfect Storm" Of Well-Being Challenges? You Make The Call

Britain's Healthiest Workplace survey highlights a "perfect storm" of well-being challenges in UK workplaces.

Specifically, UK employers lost the equivalent of 50 days of work per employee last year due to poor physical and mental health. This includes 43.6 days lost to presenteeism and 6.1 days to sickness absence.

Businesses are losing thousands of hours of productivity to ill health and poor well-being, with a 20 percent loss of working hours per employee per year.

Hybrid workers are faring better in terms of health and well-being compared to those working full-time in the office or from home.

Younger employees are struggling more with depression, financial concerns, and job dissatisfaction, losing 48 percent more productive time than their older colleagues.

So, the question for our readers is: Is your organization facing a "perfect storm" of well-being challenges?

Please take the poll. Here is the opinion of one of the McCalmon editorial staff:

Jack McCalmon, Esq.

I would say we are not facing it, but that can change, and it is not always about employees. Well-being extends beyond employees, but to inner circles. Anytime someone who is part of someone's care network becomes unwell, it leads to lost productivity.
